Romulo Augusto Mora Saenz

Romulo Augusto Mora Saenz is a Colombian poet, born in Monguí, Boyacá, on April 23, 1931. He is nationally known as The Indian Rómulo. He is considered to be the creator and leading exponent of poetry rustic or peasant manners Colombia. During his career he has recorded 12 albums, with over 150 poems committed to memory.

On May 5, 2013 received the Life of Words, in honor of his more than fifty years of artistic life in radio, film, newspapers and national television. This award was presented by the Social Communication Program Journalism at the University of Tolima and the Foundation Open Word.
